Overall Rules
1. You may not post anything that constitutes lying, mis-leading statements or violates any copyright laws.
2. You may not post anything abusive, vulgar, insulting, harassing, hateful or obscene that may possibly be considered offensive by another user.
3. You may not post anything that directly attacks another user (also called flaming or threading).
4. You may not post anything that violates any laws. This includes anything about software piracy, warez, copying and NoCD Cracks.
5. You may not post anything that discriminates against others via discussion of race, religion, color, creed or national origin. (species hate is under discression of managment)
6. You may not use excessive emoticons (smilies) - one or two is normally enough to get the point across.
7. You may not use excessive exclamation points - more is definitely not better.
8. The user accepts all responsibility for anything that they have posted - we do track IP addresses.
9. You may NOT under any circumstance plaster advertisements for other websites in these forums! The only exception is for web site contests. Feel free to use the Related Links section to post your site links.
10. The misuse of HTML or BBCode to affect more than just the individual post or reply is not permitted.
11. Multiple accounts are not permitted. If you lose your password you can use the Your Account module to have it emailed to you. If you have difficulty logging in, PM one of the Site Administrators for assistance.
12. Driving up the "viewed" numbers on a thread by using the refresh button or any other means is not permitted and is punishable by permanent ban. If you would like to have your post draw attention, request from a manager that it be stickied.

Posts / Replies Rules
1. You may not post a message in all capital letters.
- Example: I AM HAVING PROBLEMS LOADING AND RUNNING THE GAME, PLEASE HELP!!!
2. You must do your very best to use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Example: Thhese webs is the goodest websight.
3. Please do not use excessive abbreviations.
- Example: r u 4 sure going 2 IHOP 2night?
4. Do not make consecutive posts in the same thread. If you have something to add, edit your first posts. Duplicate posts should be deleted using the "modify" button.

New Topics Rules
1. You may not post a topic title in all capital letters.
- Example: NEW CRITTER BEING RELEASED TODAY!!
2. You must do your very best to select the proper forum for the topic.
- Example: Topic entitled "How to meet women" does not go into City Life.
3. You may not post the same topic in two different forums.
3a. You should check to see if a topic has already been discussed before posting.
4. You may not use "please read" in any form on the headline for the new topic. Users will choose to read posts based on their merits alone.

Signatures
1. Images used in signatures have a MAXIMUM size of 400px WIDE by 150px TALL - anything else will cause an immediate BAN to offending user.
2. The misuse of BBCode or HTML in signatures is strictly prohibited. URLs are allowed ONLY if they do not violate overall rule #9 above.
3. Signatures are considered part of a post and must not violate any of the overall rules as stated above.

Violations
1. First violation may result in the post / reply / topic being deleted and a written warning issued.
2. Second violation may result in the post / reply / topic being deleted and the user being banned from the forums for 48 hours.
3. Third violation may result in the post / reply / topic being deleted and the user will be banned from the forums for 14 days.
4. Fourth violation may result in the post /reply/topic being deleted and the user will be banned indefinitely from the forums.

Any member of the staff has the right to enforce any of the above punishments. Any member of the staff may decide on the appropriate action to be taken in case of a violation.

5. Making a new account to circumvent an account ban will result in your IP being permanently banned.
